The Carriers Inn raises £885 for Cheshire Mind

The Carriers Inn at Hatchmere has once again been supporting Cheshire Mind, raising a fantastic £885 through a combination of quiz nights, raffles and charity golf days.
This round of fundraising began with one of the pub’s popular quiz nights, with additional raffle prizes kindly donated by suppliers Brakes, Castell Howell and Harlech Food Service.
The Carriers Inn also teamed up with the Iredale family to organise two charity golf days at Vale Royal Abbey Golf Course, with the proceeds added to the money raised through the quiz night.
The events brought together the pub, the Iredale family and members of their golf society, with Dave Iredale Snr, president of the golf society, helping to organise the days. Dave is pictured presenting the fundraising total to Leigh Capon, owner and manager of The Carriers Inn.
The fundraising continues the strong relationship between The Carriers Inn, the Iredale family and Cheshire Mind, with a range of events bringing people together to raise money for the charity.
A big thank you to everyone who took part, donated prizes and helped make the events happen.
