North Staffs Mind celebrates 50 years with special Gala Dinner
There’s now just over a week to go until the North Staffs and Cheshire Mind 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner at Crewe Hall on Saturday 12 September.
The evening will bring together supporters, local businesses, colleagues, friends and members of the community for a special celebration of five decades of North Staffs Mind’s work supporting mental health and wellbeing across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.
This milestone is also an opportunity to celebrate how far we have come as one charity. Following the successful merger with Mid Cheshire Mind in 2024, we came together as North Staffs and Cheshire Mind, combining our experience, knowledge and passion to strengthen the support we provide to people and communities across North Staffordshire and Cheshire.
Today, North Staffs and Cheshire Mind employs more than 100 people and supported more than 12,000 individuals during the last financial year.
An evening of celebration
The 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner will be a chance to celebrate our history, recognise the people who have helped shape our work and look ahead to the future.
Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner, live music and entertainment throughout the evening, including music from locally known band The Wishlist, with plenty of opportunity to dance, catch up and celebrate.
Doors open at 6.30pm and guests are encouraged to dress to impress, with black tie optional.
Businesses are invited to join us
The Gala Dinner is also an opportunity for businesses and organisations across Staffordshire and Cheshire to come together, enjoy the evening and celebrate this important milestone alongside fellow businesses, supporters and members of the community.
Businesses can book individual places or a table for colleagues, and there are also sponsorship opportunities available for those who would like to provide additional support to the event and the ongoing work of North Staffs and Cheshire Mind.
