Stay Well provides mental health and emotional support for children and young people aged 5 to 18 years across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

This service is delivered through a partnership between Changes, the Dove Service and North Staffs Mind.

Together, we offer a range of support, designed to to help children and young people build resilience, improve wellbeing, and develop practical coping strategies.

Support for children and young people

The Stay Well service provides a safe and supportive space for children and young people to talk about their mental health and access early emotional wellbeing support.

This includes:

  • Wellbeing workshops
  • Peer support groups
  • One-to-one counselling sessions

How to access Stay Well

Access to Stay Well depends on where the child or young person lives.

Stoke-on-Trent

For children and young people living in Stoke-on-Trent, referrals are made through the CAMHS Triage Hub.

Staffordshire

For children and young people with Staffordshire postcodes (not including Stoke-on-Trent), referrals can be made via the Stay Well website.
