Who we are

We are an independent charity affiliated to the Mind network made up of over 100 organisations across England and Wales delivering services, campaigning and giving a voice to people with mental health problems, their families, carers and community.

We deliver a growing range of mental health services that are based around the individual and changing needs of people living, working and studying in North Staffordshire and the surrounding area.

Our team of highly skilled staff are dedicated to helping us achieve our organisational mission and values. We also work with a large group of volunteers and placement students. Our Board of Trustees are responsible for ensuring that we meet our charitable aims and objectives.

MQM

North Staffs Mind has been awarded the Mind Quality Mark (MQM) – a robust quality assurance framework created by Mind.

The MQM sets out the baseline of best practice and legal compliance in all areas of a local Mind’s governance and activities. To achieve the MQM, a local Mind must meet or exceed all 24 key standards.

The MQM provides assurance that local Minds across England and Wales are well run organisations. It provides assurance that they are healthy, ambitious, and strong in providing the highest quality support to people experiencing or at risk of developing mental health problems.
