MindFest Davenham raises £14,680.54 for Cheshire Mind

A family-friendly music festival organised by a dedicated local volunteer committee has raised an incredible £14,680.54 for Cheshire Mind, helping to fund vital local mental health services across Cheshire.

MindFest Davenham brought the local community together for a fantastic day of live music, family entertainment and fundraising in support of Cheshire Mind.
Organised by the MindFest Davenham volunteer committee, the festival featured performances from local bands One for the Road, RRP, Goosebumps and headline act

The Ant Hill Mob, alongside a DJ, fairground rides, children’s activities and a wide range of food and drink.

Visitors enjoyed a fantastic selection of food and family attractions throughout the day. Food was available from The Bull’s Head Davenham, The Fat Dough Pizza Co. and The Fat Greek, while Davenham Women’s Institute served homemade cakes and Cheshire Ice Cream Van Hire provided a selection of ice creams.

The festival also featured a popular teddy tombola hosted by Davenham RBL Social Club, alongside a variety of local stallholders selling handmade gifts, crafts and other items, with many generously donating proceeds from their sales to Cheshire Mind. festival-goers could also take part in the Big Charity Raffle, with prizes including a signed Robbie Williams Port Vale shirt, a gliding experience and a Waterworld family pass.

The success of the event is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the MindFest Davenham volunteer committee, whose passion and commitment made the festival possible. Their efforts, combined with the generosity of local businesses, performers, sponsors and everyone who attended, helped raise £14,680.54 for Cheshire Mind.

The money raised will help support the roll-out of The Maccas Project into Cheshire schools, as well as helping us continue providing life-changing mental health support, advice and services to people across Cheshire, ensuring that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.

Everyone at North Staffs and Cheshire Mind would like to say a huge thank you to the Mind Fest Davenham volunteer committee, every volunteer, performer, sponsor, local business and everyone who attended and supported the event. Your generosity and community spirit have made a lasting difference to local mental health support.

We would love to see MindFest Davenham return in the future and continue to bring the community together in support of mental health.
