The Blues CAN have a positive impact on Mental Health!

Young Toby Lee is an amazing blues/rock guitarist who came to many peoples attention when he performed on Jules Holland’s ‘Hootenanny’ last Christmas. Since then he has been touring with Jules as the support act to his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra as well as his own 40 date (sell out) tour. He isn’t even 21 until next January and yet he has played with so many other great artists including the legendary Joe Bonamassa at the Royal Albert Hall (when he was just 14!) where Joe described Toby as “a future superstar of the blues”.  How right he was!
 
Toby has always been a keen supporter of mental health, but his commitment increased further when his manager Nigel Templeton took his own life earlier this year. Nigel was Toby’s manager since he was 12 and he was naturally devastated. 
 
When Toby learned that 2026 was to be the 50th Anniversary of North Staffs Mind and the various events / activities currently being planned, he wanted to do whatever he could to help. Hence he has kindly signed a couple of guitars and some merchandise for us to fundraise from.
