Radius Supports Cheshire Mind with Dress-Down Day
Cheshire Mind is delighted to announce that Radius recently held a dress-down day in support of our local mental health services. The company’s initiative will help make sure vital support continues to be available to people across our community.
The idea for the dress-down day came from team members at Radius, who wanted to find a meaningful way to support mental wellbeing and make a positive impact on the community they operate within. Colleagues embraced the initiative enthusiastically, contributing through donations and spreading awareness of the importance of mental health.
Reflecting on their motivation for supporting Cheshire Mind, Becky Taylor, DEI & Community Manager from Radius, shared:
“Raising funds and awareness for Cheshire Mind is an important way to start conversations and remind each other that support is always available. We’ve been proud to host events at Radius that cover all aspects of mental health; including podcasts, dress-down days and even morning yoga sessions, to promote wellbeing and foster a more compassionate workplace for everyone. It’s important for us to recognise and support the communities we’re based in, which is why we’re pleased to be able to contribute directly to the Cheshire community by donating to Cheshire Mind.”
The dress-down day has already demonstrated the impact businesses can have when they take action to support mental health. Cheshire Mind provides counselling, peer support groups, wellbeing activities, school outreach and organisational training – all designed to help people manage their mental health and access the support they need.
The team at Radius is a wonderful example of how workplace activities can have a lasting effect on both employees and the wider community. The company’s commitment highlights the growing recognition that supporting mental wellbeing is as important as any other aspect of community responsibility.
Funds raised will go directly towards local counselling, wellbeing services, and support activities, making sure individuals and families across Cheshire can access help when they need it most.
Cheshire Mind would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Radius’ team members for their generosity, compassion and dedication to improving mental health in our community.
Together, we are making a difference – one act of kindness, one conversation, and one connection at a time.
