Izzy Malkin had something to prove. 

As one of the Conveyancing Team at local solicitors – Step Legal, Izzy Malkin wanted her ‘STEPS’ to really count! That is why she did almost 180,000 of them in one month! – Case closed. 

 

Here is her story…..

 

“I took part in the 60 miles for September this year in honour of my dad. My dad unfortunately took his life in June this year, I wanted to do this to raise money and awareness for mental health, but most importantly for my dad. During the month I actually completed 73.66 miles and raised £1,260.00 for our local branch of Mind. 

 

No one deserves to suffer with poor mental health, and everyone deserves the chance to get help they need. I feel incredibly honoured to have this opportunity and give the money raised to North Staffs Mind to benefit the local community. My dad was always a person willing to help anyone when they needed it and I feel proud of myself keeping this within our family. Please reach out and get support when you need. There are many people on this earth that love you and care for you” 💙

 

Not satisfied with raising £1,260 for us, she has also joined our Mental Elf 5k Fun Run at Trentham Gardens in December to raise yet more money. She has even roped her brother in!
