CC Golf Events raises £1,225 for North Staffs and Cheshire Mind.
A three day charity golf tournament organised by CC Golf Events raised £1,225 for North Staffs and Cheshire Mind, helping to support mental health services across North Staffordshire and Cheshire.
Organised by Colin Coulborn of CC Golf Events, the tournament took place from 9–11 September at Celtic Manor Resort and brought together 32 golfers for three days of golf, fundraising and fun. As part of the event, Colin also organised a charity auction and raffle.
Colin chose to support North Staffs and Cheshire Mind because mental health is particularly close to his heart. He also believes in the positive impact that staying active can have on both physical and mental wellbeing. Colin said: “It is important to stay physically active, both in body and mind, and golf is a great way to do that. The event brought together golfers from a wide range of backgrounds, including serving and retired police officers, kitchen fitters, joiners, mechanics, insurance brokers and NHS staff.
“I’d like to thank Steve Channon and the team at North Staffs and Cheshire Mind for supporting the CC Golf Ryder Cup Charity Auction and Raffle. It raised £1,225 for the charity and was a fun event that everyone enjoyed.”
