We are an independent charity run by local people for local people.
We are governed by an experienced board of trustees who ensure that we meet our charitable aims and objectives and the organisation is managed by an experienced team of staff. We’re part of Mind, and our mission is:
We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect.
We offer high quality services in the North Staffordshire area and last year over 4,700 people accessed these services. We offer a range of services focusing on the mental health and wellbeing of adults, children and young people and these services include counselling, community support and supported housing.
North Staffs Mind has a stated commitment to quality:
Being the best we can be; doing the best we can do for people
We are committed to working in partnership with other organisations in order to improve our services and the wider mental health sector. We make an active contribution also to the wider local voluntary sector.
We welcome feedback on our services – please see the feedback form on the contact us page to provide comments, compliments or complaints.
Current funders of our services include: NHS Stoke-on-Trent, NHS North Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent City Council, Staffordshire County Council, The Big Lottery Fund, and the Henry Smith Charity.
