This weekend saw our first open air rock concert. Judging by its huge success, it won’t be our last. As it was our first event of its type, it was held in the private grounds of Lawton Hall Estate, limited to 200 people buying tickets via invitation only. The rain held off and the audience were able to enjoy their picnics on the lawn whilst being entertained with classics hits from the 60’s through to the 90’s performed by ‘The Wishlist’. The band performed for free which combined with two raffles raised just over £2,500 on the day. The event was further honoured by having the High Sheriffs of both Staffordshire and Cheshire as attendees who drew the two raffle prizes on our behalf.
