By donating to North Staffs Mind, you help us to provide vital mental health services to people across our local community. We simply cannot support the growing number of people who need us without your help.
There are several ways you can help us. You can make a one-off donation, take part in a fundraising activity, or choose to make North Staffs Mind your Charity of the Year. Whichever route you choose, it means so much to us.
What your donation means to us
Any donation helps, as it all adds up and allows our essential services to grow.
£5 – Can fund a call to our helpline, providing someone with vital support and information
£12 – Can provide a web chat session, giving an adult who is struggling with their mental health someone to reach out to
£20 – Can help to fund an initial consultation for talking therapy
£50 – Can run a support group session, helping people to connect with others and feel less alone
£120 – Can provide half a day of mental health workshops in a school, raising awareness and supporting young people with their mental health
All your donation stays within Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, and anything you can donate today, makes a huge difference for tomorrow.
Gift Aid It
If you donate to us direct through our website or our Just Giving page, you will be presented with a box to tick to confirm your are eligible. If you wish to make your donation personally by bringing it to our offices, please click on the button opposite to download a Gift Aid form to complete and hand in with your donation. This will enable us to claim an additional 25p on every £1 you donate.
Donating through Payroll Giving
Payroll giving is a tax effective way to support North Staffs Mind. It enables you to give more by paying less!
If you are a UK tax payer, North Staffs Mind can automatically receive back 25p on every £1 you donate. For example, (depending on your tax bracket), If you donate £10 from your salary at source, we will receive and extra £2.50 an no extra cost to you. Some employers offer a match giving scheme so the amount you donate could be worth twice or more of what you donate.
Receiving donations in this way enables us to plan ahead. It enables us to initiate new support services in the knowledge that we can continue to support them because we are able to rely on a regular funding stream.
