About our paid counselling service

Our paid counselling service for adults (18+) provides specialist support delivered by qualified, experienced counsellors. This service offers rapid access to affordable, quality counselling.

Counselling is a type of talking therapy that gives you the opportunity to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in a safe, supportive and confidential space.

Your counsellor will listen without judgement and work with you to better understand what you’re experiencing. Counselling isn’t about being told what you should do. Instead, your counsellor will help you explore what matters to you, consider different perspectives and find ways forward that feel right for you.

How counselling can help

Counselling can support you with a range of experiences and challenges, including:

  • anxiety and low mood
  • stress and feeling overwhelmed
  • low self-esteem and confidence
  • difficult life experiences
  • relationship difficulties
  • bereavement and loss
  • unwanted or difficult thoughts
  • difficulties coping with day-to-day life

You don’t need to have a specific diagnosis or know exactly what you need support with before getting in touch. Our team can talk to you about your circumstances and explain whether counselling could be right for you.

What can I expect?

Your counsellor will provide a supportive, respectful and confidential space where the focus is on you and your experiences.

They will work collaboratively with you, at your own pace, helping you explore your concerns and identify goals that are meaningful to you. Starting counselling can sometimes feel daunting, and talking about difficult experiences may feel uncomfortable at first. Your counsellor will support you throughout the process.
