The MACCAS Project

Tom, or Maccas as he was widely known, was a typical young man. He came from a loving, supportive family and was popular amongst his friends. He was diagnosed with psychosis and struggled to come to terms with it, finding escape in music and creative arts. But every day was a battle. Aged 19, Tom took his own life. In light of this sudden heartbreak, Tom's family and friends began fundraising for North Staffs Mind in the hope that tragedies like this could be prevented in the future. And so, the MACCAS Project was born.

Callum's Destiny

Callum's Destiny support groups were established in memory of Callum Brundrett, who sadly took his own life. This support group will help friends and family who have been affected by suicide, providing a safe and confidential space with informal support from peers and a qualified counsellor. This drops-in is for anyone who has been affected by suicide. No referral is required.

Be Excellent To Each Other

Be Excellent to Each Other drop-ins were established after a local man, Jackson Cummings, sadly took his own life. Jackson's family and friends began fundraising for North Staffs Mind and their efforts fund the drop-ins. Suitable for men aged 18+. No referral is required, just come along!
