The Mindful Miles Challenge is a new challenge to help you keep active and support mental health, whilst raising money for North Staffs Mind. Set yourself a target distance (preferably in miles!) and walk, run or cycle any time throughout May to reach your goal.
The Mindful Miles Challenge will run from the 1st – 31st May 2020. You can use your exercise any time between these dates to complete your miles.
Anywhere! The beauty of this challenge is that you can complete it on your own, wherever you like – down your road, around the park, in your own garden or even on a treadmill/exercise bike. Just remember to follow government social distancing rules.
Exercise has been shown to have a positive impact on mental wellbeing, so by taking part in the Mindful Miles Challenge you'll be helping to support your own mental health, whilst helping us to support others with theirs. At this challenging time we are seeing an increase in people needing support with their mental health have adapted as many of our services as we can to offer them remotely. Many fundraising events have been cancelled, which has had a big impact on our income at a time we need financial support more than ever.
Everyone! We just ask that anyone under 18 has parental/carer consent first.
How much does it cost?
Registration for the Mindful Miles Challenge is FREE; however, we kindly ask that you raise a minimum of £25 to help us keep supporting local people with their mental health.
